EAGLE, Neb. (May 14, 2023) A little new with a bit more familiar, Cole Vanderheiden raced to a pair of 11th-place finishes this past weekend at Beatrice Speedway and Eagle Raceway.
A new track for the up-and-coming driver, Beatrice Speedway, was a learning experience for Cole, who struggled to find grip around the three-eights-mile oval and fell back one position during the race. Back at Eagle Raceway on Saturday, the result in the A-Feature was the same against the 24-car field but saw Cole move forward from 14th.
Slated for Husets Speedway on Sunday, the race was called due to rain.
The plan is to return to Eagle Raceway this coming Saturday, May 20, and take another shot at Huset's on Sunday, May 21.
