Randall and TKS make big moves on I-55’s highbanks; All eyes on Knoxville

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (April 15, 2024) - Despite Friday’s appearance at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, ending short of their end goal, ultimately failing to qualify for the Spring Classic opener with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, Chase Randall and TKS Motorsports rebounded in one the best ways possible and eventually concluded the weekend with a top-ten outcome, rallying from deep to do so. The top-ten was the team’s second of the season, earning their first in another Outlaws charge at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, on Friday, April 5.

Randall, a Waco, Texas, native and driver of the Albaugh - Your Alternative, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, No. 2KS sprint car, finished tenth in the $12,000-to-win Spring Classic finale, commencing his charge from 16th on the grid. The “Quickest Chicken” put on a small charge in his heat race, as well, bumping a pair of spots from sixth to finish fourth.

With their Missouri slate now complete, TKS Motorsports will quickly revert their attention back to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, as Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, is set to kick off their 2024 season Saturday, April 20.

“Had some mechanical hiccups on Friday, but to rebound like we did on Saturday says so much about this team. Chase [Randall] never buckles under the pressure, so I’m confident in saying we have the potential to win from any starting position,” Troy Renfro, owner of TKS Motorsports, stated. “I think we’re excited to get back to Knoxville Raceway. A track title is the ultimate goal…it all starts Saturday.”

ON DECK:
TKS Motorsports and Chase Randall will continue their 2024 campaign with the Knoxville Raceway season opener on Saturday, April 20. An open practice session will be contested on Friday, April 19.
