Inside Line Promotions – McCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. – Junction Motor Speedway hosts the first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event following the famed Knoxville Nationals.
The premier sprint car series is set to invade the 3/8-mile oval on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
“It’s a neat place and a fast track,” Donny Schatz said. “It’s a neat facility in the middle of Nebraska. It has nice, big grandstands and it’s laid out very well. It’s a small town and is fortunate to have a race track of that caliber.”
Schatz has figured out how to get around the track. He has recorded a podium finish in each of the three previous World of Outlaws races at Junction Motor Speedway.
“We’ve seemed to do well there and I look forward to it,” he said.
Schatz finished third during the inaugural event in 2010 before winning in 2012. He also earned a third-place finish last year.

WHAT: The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, which features open-wheel, 900-plus horsepower race cars, travels the country for more than 90 races at more than 50 dirt tracks in 24 states and three Canadian provinces

TIMES: Pits open at 2 p.m.; Main gates open at 4 p.m.; Racing scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
TICKETS –
A pit/combo ticket is also available, which includes a reserved seat, a pit pass and a “Class of 2014” poster of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series drivers. Adult pit/combo tickets are $38 and pit/combo tickets for children aged 0 to 12 are $25.
General admission seating is available as well for $35 per adult ticket and $15 for children aged 6 to 12 years old.

Also, spectators can upgrade any ticket to a pit pass for only $10 on race day.
