“AN EVENING WITH JON AGAN” SET FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, AT THE NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (August 15, 2014) - The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will host its monthly Sprint Car 101: Third Thursday Series program on Thursday, August 21, at 7 p.m. with “An Evening with Jon Agan.” The program is free and open to the public, and it will take place on the second floor of the non-profit museum.

According to museum curator Tom Schmeh today, “Because of the season that Jon Agan is having this year, we’ve wanted him to be our special guest for a while now. But, his schedule with the Sprint Invaders Association has precluded it from happening until this coming Thursday night. The former regular with the All Star Circuit of Champions is currently second in Knoxville Raceway ‘360’ points and he is leading the ‘360’ Sprint Invaders points. He is a threat to win every time out. We are anxious to have Knoxville historian Eric Arnold interview Jon about his life and racing career.”
