Wild Child Second at Butler With The All Stars

PETERSEN MEDIA: Returning to their All Stars schedule over the weekend, Jac Haudenschild and his Destiny Motorsports team were in action for two nights at the Butler Motor Speedway, and Haudenschild picked up a second place finish after a hard fought battle with Dale Blaney.

With 27 cars checked into the pit area on Saturday night at the Butler Motor Speedway, the Wooster, OH wheelman laid down a great lap during time trials, that earned him second quickest overall.

Starting in the third row of his heat race, ‘The Wild Child’ lived up to a his name as he thrilled the crowd as he has on so many occasions, sliding his way to the front and picking up the heat race win.

Advancing from fourth to second in the dash, Haudenschild put his MonDak Portables/Champion Lubricants/Renegade Rentals entry on the front row alongside Blaney for the 30-lap bout.

With Blaney jumping out to the early lead, Haudenschild kept him in striking distance, as he looked to slow Blaney down.

In lapped traffic, Haudenschild would reel Blaney in, and though he gave Blaney a valiant fight, he came up just short, and settled for second place honors.

On Friday night at the Butler Motor Speedway, a light 19 car field saw Haudenschild stop the clock fourth fastest in time trials, putting him in the first heat, where he would finish third.

Lining up seventh in the feature event on a track that was challenging to pass on, Haudenschild laid it all on the line as he searched for open real estate.

Opting to search around the speedway, Haudenschild was unsuccessful in is efforts, as he slipped back to a 10th place finish at the stripe.
