Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 19, 2014) – Big Game Motorsports driver Craig Dollansky is in contention for a top-five finish in the Knoxville Raceway championship standings entering the season finale this Saturday.
Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands team head into the event only seven points out of fifth place, but Saturday’s mission is about one thing.
“We’re going there trying to win, which has been our goal every week this season,” he said.
Dollansky has earned three feature victories, six podiums and 11 top 10s at the half-mile track this season. He is coming off his eighth career top five during the biggest sprint car race of the season – the FVP Knoxville Nationals – on Aug. 9.
“This team has been a work in progress all season long and we’ve had some bright moments,” he said. “A couple of DNFs plagued us in the championship points race. We had a couple of issues that got us behind the eight ball in points so hopefully we can put together a full night on Saturday and end the year at Knoxville with another win.”
Dollansky ranks 23rd in the career wins list at Knoxville Raceway with 15 total victories.
