Jefferson, SD-AtoZ Promotions is pleased to announce the tentative 2015 Park Jefferson Speedway schedule. The goal of this schedule is to provide every race fan an opportunity to see a variety of travelling series as well as the top class local racers of the Siouxland. The feature events on the schedule are the 2nd Annual Carlson Clash, featuring Ted Carlson’s favorite class, Super Late Models. The hot new 410 series the National Sprint League will kick off July with a special Friday night date. The pinnacle of the season will be the 2nd annual Iron Cup, which will continue with a 2 day format. New this year is the Prelude to the Iron Cup which will also be the track championship night at Park Jefferson. The season wraps up with individual nights celebrating open wheel and fendered specialists to close out the season.
Park Jefferson minimum purses will remain the same as posted on the website, www.parkjeff.com for any night of racing. We are continuing to work on some mid-season special events that will pay a higher purse as sponsorship allows. In terms of sanctioning, we are still working with sanctioning bodies about what would be best for the racers in the Siouxland. The rules package will remain almost identical to the IMCA based rules that were run in 2014 at Park Jeff.
