The last race of 2014 is in the books with JRR traveling to Duquoin, IL to race with the POWERI Midget Series in The Battle at the Center. Some of the top drivers in the country from Midgets, to World of Outlaws, to NASCAR were apart of the 59 drivers in attendance to get in some seat time before the Chili Bowl just a few weeks away. Jody was able to get out the gates on the right foot in his New BOSS Chassis #14R starting outside the front row and winning his heat race locking him into the main event. Jody starting outside the 7th row in the A Feature and was able to come home in tenth. A strong showing in a new car and a great test run before JRR starts 2015 when they head to Tulsa, OK in a few weeks for the Tulsa Shootout with their Micro Sprint and then followed up with the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals a week later.
