HIGHLANDS, Texas (May 22, 2015) The hits just keep on coming as saturating rain fall, coupled with a continued wet forecast, has forced officials with the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas to pull the plug on events scheduled for Sunday, May 24 with the Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment.
Officials with the ASCS Gulf South Region are currently looking for a replacement date for the Battleground Speedway, as well as Shady Oaks Speedway which was forced to cancel their Memorial Day Weekend event as well.
