Rost Making Strides

(Utica, NE) Anytime you can race at the world famous Knoxville Raceway, it is a good day. Anytime you can make the A Main in your first attempt at the Knoxville Raceway it is a great day. That is exactly what Tony Rost and the Tony Rost Motorsports team did on the 4th of July weekend. The double feature event ended with Tony moving forward to scoop up a 19th place finish in the first feature and unfortunately having to scratch for the second event with a part failure in the rear end. But overall it was still a successful night. “Coming here to Knoxville and making the show in our first try is big for me and this team. This track is intimidating for a first-timer but my crew worked hard and we ended up having a decent night.”

Now after a few weeks of preparation at I-80 Speedway the TRM crew look to make a splash in their ASCS National Tour debut. This Thursday and Friday the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car series will descend on I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska for the “Road to Knoxville” in preparation for next weekend’s Knoxville 360 Nationals. It will be Tony Rost’s first career ASCS National attempt and there’s no better place than I-80 Speedway track to go against the best in the country. “We’re still pretty green at this and all of these teams have a lot more experience than we do. But we’ve made several improvements and I’ve gotten more comfortable running at I-80. We’re definitely looking forward to being part of this big event.”

TRM would like to welcome a new marketing partner to the team for the remainder of the 2015 season. Polar personal training products, one of the world’s most innovative companies in cross training products has joined the fold starting at this weekend’s Road to Knoxville event. Polar.com offers a wide range of heart rate monitors and activity trackers for those that live an active lifestyle.

Listening to your body is one thing, understanding what it is telling you is an altogether different story. Polar helps you get under the skin of your training. Polar attributes it to a combination of expertise in sports, physiology and electronics, coupled with a deep understanding of customer needs. It’s no surprise then that they’ve been leading the way in technological innovations and heart rate monitors since 1977.

Polar caters to all levels of fitness by offering a comprehensive product range, along with essential support and advice. Everything from improving an athlete’s sports performance to helping people enjoy a healthier lifestyle, and aiding rehabilitation and weight management.
This desire to be the best is made possible by ambitious and highly talented professionals who still believe as passionately in what Polar does today, as they did over 30 years ago. And their success is clear to see. Today, Polar employs 1200 people worldwide, manufactures all products in its fully owned factories, has 26 subsidiaries globally and manages a distribution network supplying over 35,000 retail outlets in more than 80 countries. Now that’s what we call the power behind Polar.
