It was a beautiful evening in Rock Rapids for the opening event of the 2017 season at Rapid Speedway, sponsored by Keizer Wheels. After 2.2 inches of rain hit Park Jefferson in 36 hours officials cancelled the USMTS and and 360 show. Full refunds for advance sales will be applied to ticket buyers cards. The show will not be made up. Park Jefferson will close its season September 14-16 with the fourth Iron Cup.
