Driver Profile

Chris Magoon, has been driving a Sprint Car for eleven seasons. Previous to 2002, Chris had no Sprint Car knowledge or experience, just an intense passion for racing!

Magoon Motorsports is a family venture that launched by scraping together rather humble finances just to put a car together. Also, we had no experience with Sprint Cars, so we listened and learned in order to maximize our resources.

We first entered the sport in 2002, but our first full season was in 2004, and we were hooked! There was no turning back! Magoon Motorsports was no longer a hobby, but a family enterprise – our hard-work and perseverance paid off! Throughout the 2004 season we won six heat races, three main events and took the Championship at Twin Cities Speedway for their Speedway Sprint Inaugural Year.

There have been many write ups in local newspapers and Speed Media Open Wheel Racing News Out West paper, based in Colorado and writes on impact racing skills throughout the Western States. Chris h
