About Cody

The Tucson, Arizona native knew he wanted to make a career in racing, even before he started in go-karts. After a great amount of success in go-karting, Cambensy graduated to dirt modifieds at the age of 14. Cody would pick up were he left off, running up front finishing out his first year with fifteen top tens, six top fives, and Rookie of the Year. He continued racing modified setting a track record for the youngest driver to win a dirt modified race at USA race way and Driver of the Year. Cambensy later started to capture the eye of local car owners turning him into a hired gun at just 17.

By 2008, Cambensy had proved to be a top contender in dirt modified all through the west coast, and would be on to another chapter of open wheel. Cody started racing for Morales Motorsports in the ASCS Southwest Sprint Car Series. .2012 Raced part time winged and none winged sprint cars. 6 top fives, 11 top tens.

.2011 Test driver for NASCAR teams. Race 9 sprint cars races with the worst finish of 8th. Ran inside the top 10 in K&N pro race till a crash.

ASA/USLMA Tour Late Models with JPU Racing LLC, USAC/ASCS Sprint Car with UIR Racing. 13 straight top five finishes in late models. First USLMA Tour Series starting 24th and finishing 5th. 6 top five qualifying starting positions and 1 win. Tucson Raceway Park Late Model Rookie of the Year. Also made first debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Martinsville Speedway on October 23 with JJCR. And looking to Make first K&N Pro Series and Nationwide start this year. Also looking to test first ARCA car at Daytona in December.
