Driver Profile

My name is Tyler Groenendyk, I am an up and coming sprint car driver from Oskaloosa, IA and I currently race at Knoxville Raceway. I grew up working on the family farm. I have implemented the skills and work ethic I learned on the farm into my race team. I have also worked closely with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I have utilized my race team to raise over $15,000 and grant wishes for 2 children. In 2016 I plan to race at Knoxville Raceway and around the Midwest turning the skills I need to achieve my ultimate goal of a Knoxville track championship.

I started my own race team at the age of 18 with the help of many people and marketing partners. I am now living out my dreams in racing and enjoy getting to use the opportunities I have to help encourage others to chase their dreams as well. I especially enjoy interacting with young race fans and racers, doing what I can to encourage them to work hard towards achieving their goals. Through my media outlets I hope you will discover my passion for racing, my drive to deliver my marketing partners what they expect and my love of using racing to help change the lives of others.
