About Bud
Bud Watson Racing began in 1999. Bud raced a WKA Kart from 1998-2006 in multiple states and regions at many levels of competition. After 59 wins with a championship in 2004 and two in 2005, Bud ran a half-season in 2006 until stepping up into modlites. From Mid 2006-2008, Bud was a contender every night in the modlites scoring 11 wins paired with a track championship at Mercer Raceway Park in 2008. In 2009-2010, Bud ran crate late models all over the east coast, grabbing 3 wins and countless top 5 and top 10 finishes. Bud moved to modified racing throughout the Ohio/PA/WV region in 2011. With several part time seasons, including taking off the 2014 and 2016 seasons through 2019, Bud picked up just two wins but dozens of top 5's in the ultra competitive division.
