Kyle began racing when he was 12 years old in a borrowed kart at Little Greenwood Raceway in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. In his first year he won 3 feature events and over the next 4 years went onto capture 17 more feature wins, a Burris Money Series Championship, and a Shellhammers Speedway Championship.

In 2015, Kyle transitioned to 358 sprint car competition in Central PA and has competed in a total of 25 events over a 2 year period.
He has a little brother Nathan who is his biggest fan and his dad who backs him in his racing career.
