Kaeding Performance history segment to debut on "KWS Tonight"

(This week we debut the "History Segment" presented by Kaeding Performance that will feature highlights from the 2002 Golden State 410 championship weekend at Silver Dollar Speedway)

With the racing season getting underway in parts of the country “KWS Tonight” will continue to preview the 2012 year on Thursday at 7pm pst, but also have a glimpse at the past, as we are less than two-months from kicking off the schedule.

To view the show this week log onto http://www.kingofthewestsprintcarseries.com as we are currently changing over websites and the usual address will be down. You can also catch the show directly on the “KWS Tonight” Vimeo page at http://vimeo.com/user10076991

This week we will debut the “History Segment” presented by Kaeding Performance and take a look back at the 2002 Golden State 410 Series championship weekend. The extremely close title fight came down to Tim Kaeding, Brent Kaeding & Jason Meyers as the season wore on, before a scintillating conclusion in July at Silver Dollar Speedway.

We’ll also continue our walk down memory lane from the 2011 season, with the “Goodyear Highlight Reel” featuring action from the August 6 event at Kings Speedway in Hanford, which saw Tim Kaeding pick up his sixth and final win for the year.

Last weekend KWS also held a driver/team business meeting and we will give everyone a recap of the proceedings and highlight some of the possible new teams for the coming campaign. In addition to that we’ll talk about the prestigious “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial” that will be held on May 5 and how you can become a part of the event.

Finally we will cap the show by previewing the three weekends that lead up to the halfway point in the 2012 King of the West Sprint Car Series season.

Those events include the double-header on Memorial Day weekend at Calistoga Speedway, where we will pay honor to a pair of legends of our sport, along with the June 2 “John Anthony Sharp Memorial” at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway and the “Road to Dirt Cup weekend” at Silver Dollar Speedway & Southern Oregon Speedway on June 8 and 9.
