Factory Kahne Shocks Win in Two Countries
PETERSEN MEDIA: With the United States season getting underway, and the season down under winding down, Factory Kahne Shocks would like to congratulate Tony Bruce, Jr and Jason Johnson for picking up wins during the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour opening weekend, and Shane Stewart for picking up the win a the Krikke Boys Shoot Out in AU.
Friday night during the opening of the Copper on Dirt, Owasso, OK driver Tony Bruce, Jr dominated the 25-lap feature event to open his season off the right way, and doing it his first night with his Factory Kahne Shock package.
Saturday night, Jason Johnson clawed his way through the field for the second night in a row, as the Louisiana driver picked up the big money at Canyon Speedway Park from the fifth row on his Factory Kahne Shocks. Impressively enough with Johnson, he drove from 21st to a seventh place finish.
Down in Australia, Shane Stewart returned from a quick trip back to the US, to pick up the Krikke Boys Shoot Out in his Monte Motorsports entry.
The Krikke Boys Shoot Out is one of the most prestigious races down under as it offers $20,000 to the winner.
