PETERSEN MEDIA: Clarksburg, CA driver, Justyn Cox, will get started on his 2012 campaign this weekend at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA as he will pilot the always strong Rod Tiner Racing No.83 entry during the annual Silver Cup.
Cox comes into this weekends event no stranger to the facility or the car as he piloted the Rod Tiner tuned entry in a pair of events last year, including the Fall Nationals where Cox put together a fifth place finish on opening night, and also the quick time award on the final night over the 57 cars entered in the event.
The young driver is excited to get back behind the wheel after a long winter of waiting and finalizing plans for the upcoming season.
“I’m excited and looking forward to this weekend, and working with Rod and his guys again,” said Cox. “We ran a few races together last year and were really competitive and fast, so I’m anxious to fire off this weekend.”
Cox and his family are still solidifying plans for Justyn’s 2012 campaign, as they continue to search and acquire additional sponsors.
