Rico Abreu, Andy Gregg & 1996 NARC Speedweek highlights

The newest episode of “KWS Tonight” airs this evening and will feature a pair of call-in interviews with two of the more unique personalities in West Coast sprint car racing.

First up we will speak with last year’s 7th place finisher in the points, Andy Gregg, as he prepares for the 2012 season with some changes in his program.

Then we will have young rising star Rico Abreu on the line to talk about his rookie season in sprint car racing last year and how excited he is to drive for Keith Kunz Motorsports in 2012 with the USAC National Midget Series.

The “Kaeding Performance Flashback” will return this week and in honor of having Bobby McMahan on the show last Thursday, we will showcase his three wins during Northern Auto Racing Club Speedweek 1996. The Elk Grove driver ended the week as champion while competing for car owner Clyde Lamar.

To view the show log onto http://www.kwssprints.com starting at 7pm pst on Thursday. It will then replay on the homepage to watch at your leisurely pleasure over the next week. You can also see the show directly on the “KWS Tonight” Vimeo page at http://vimeo.com/user10076991
