The countdown continues to the King of the West Series opener in Antioch on April 7 and “KWS Tonight” this Thursday will present interviews with two Chico, CA based drivers that are gearing up for the KWS campaign.

To view the show log onto http://www.kwssprints.com starting at 7pm pst on Thursday. It will then replay on the homepage to watch at your leisurely pleasure over the next week. You can also see the show directly on the “KWS Tonight” Vimeo page at http://vimeo.com/user10076991

Coming off a strong outing at last week’s Mini Gold Cup, former two-time state 410 champion Jonathan Allard will call in to discuss his runner up effort to four-time World of Outlaw titlist Donny Schatz this past Friday. “JA” last season finished fourth in the KWS standings and he’ll give us his thoughts as the opener approaches.

Youngster Kenny Allen will also be on the line during the show to speak about his rookie season last year with the King of the West Series, which ended with him earning “Rookie of the Year” honors. The now 17-year-old returns for his sophomore season with KWS in 2012 and will look to put last years experience to use.

The “Kaeding Performance Flashback” this week will feature Jason Meyers’ first career Calistoga Speedway and Northern Auto Racing Club victory from 1999. The former Golden State competitor and two-time Outlaw champion will ironically cap off his “All Star Appreciation Tour” this Saturday at Calistoga.

This week's show is also the one-year anniversary of "KWS Tonight" and we would like to thank everyone that has tuned in since we started.
