Bringing the Family Back to the Auto Races
(Chico, CA 3/28/12)…On April 6th at the Silver Dollar Speedway it will be the first chance of the year to allow our local drivers and fans the chance to experience a regular Friday night point championship show. With the start of a new season comes new challenges, but, on the other hand, it also gives us opportunities to try and offer some exciting discounted pricing to help the racing fans and our local community. With that being said, promoter Dennis Gage has decided to offer a family pack discount on tickets, food and souvenirs at the Silver Dollar Speedway for 2012.
The first dramatic discount is for a season pass. The price of a season pass for 2012 has been dropped to $150.00. That’s a $75.00 savings from last year. Season passes are good for any regular Friday night point’s race at Silver Dollar Speedway. Once again, the Speedway has reached an agreement with the Fairgrounds to not charge for parking at any of our Friday night shows. Gage has also decided not to raise individual grandstand ticket prices for 2012.
Another opportunity to save money is the nightly family pass. Two adults and two juniors can now watch the races for $30.00. The $30.00 deal is also available for two adults and three children. Adding to the theme of family passes, the Speedway will now offer a Family Meal Deal. The meal deal will include four sodas and four hotdogs for $12.00.
For the first points show on April 6, you can visit our website, www.silverdollarspeedway.com, to print out a coupon good for FREE basket of fries with purchase of any other food item. Also on the website, you can print off a front gate discount coupon to lower your ticket cost the night of the event. Check back to the website for weekly printable coupon deals.
We are also putting together a separate deal for kids involved in clubs or groups like Little League, Girl Scouts or the local BMX race track. Including in this special package will be discounted tickets, special food options and track souvenirs.
Keeping with the family theme don’t forget our first point’s race on April 6th will coincide with celebrating Easter. Kids 11 and under will be admitted free. After the heat races are completed, we will allow all kids 11 and under to head towards our infield and conduct the annual Easter egg Hunt. There is also a rumor that the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.
