PETERSEN MEDIA: Over the weekend drivers in the state of California were dominant on their Factory Kahne shock packages, as Sean Becker scored gold in Chico, CA on Friday night, and Tim Kaeding opened the 2012 King of the West Tour with a win in Antioch. In Pennsylvania, Pat Cannon again wound up in victory lane as he scored first and second place finishes this weekend.
Friday night started the winning off, as Sean Becker piloted Dan Menne’s machine at the weekly opener for the Silver Dollar Speedway.
On a rough and locked down race track, Becker battled past Rico Abreu and Kyle Larson to score the win during his first night of action on Factory Kahne Shocks.
Saturday night, Tim Kaeding continued the Kaeding dominance on Factory Kahne shock suspension as he dominated the 30-lap feature at the Antioch Speedway in Antioch, CA to pick up his third win of 2012.
Kaeding utilized his outside pole position to get the jump and he never looked back. Joining Kaeding on the podium was young Rico Abreu, who charged from the 13th spot on his Factory Kahne shocks tuned by Kaeding performance to a career best third place finish with the series.
Out in PA, Pat Cannon continues to dominate the completion with his Factory Kahne shock package.
Cannon picked up his fourth win of the season as he backed last weeks win up at Selinsgrove Speedway, and scored a second place finish at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night.
Factory Kahne shocks also spent the weekend researching and developing new valving's with the Kasey Kahne Racing team as they competed in Attica over the weekend.
“We are pleased with what we figured out,” said Willie Kahne. “We had a great weekend with the KKR guys and learned a lot.”
