Cocopah Speedway Next For ASCS Southwest

Bryan Hulbert – SOMERTON, Ariz. (May 17, 2022) It’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Night at Cocopah Speedway on Saturday, May 21, and the ASCS Southwest Region is back in action at the three-eighths-mile Arizona oval.

Free admission to all Law Enforcement with ID, the night will also feature an exhibition race between agencies for the privilege of earning the Law Enforcement Challenge Cup.

Saturday, May 21 at Cocopah Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, Senior/Military are $18, and Kids 12 and Under are free. Pit Passes are $35. Lineup of classes includes Mini Dwarf Sportsman, Mini Dwarf Masters, IMCA Hobby Stock, IMCA Sport Compact, Pure Stocks, and Junior Sprints.

The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 Regional Tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
