Runner-up finish with MSTS at I-80 Speedway

With Friday’s plans at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, N.D.) rained out, Ryan Timms headed to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) to compete with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series. After starting the night off with a heat race win, Timms inched forward three spots in the 20-lap feature to register a second-place finish. He trailed Jack Dover to the checkers with Matt Juhl rounding out the podium.

On Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) aboard the No. 97K POWRI Midget, Ryan passed three cars in his heat race to finish third. Earning the seventh-starting position for the feature, Timms jumped up one spot in the 25-lapper to place sixth.

To wrap up the weekend on Sunday, Timms headed to Huset’s Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) to enter his CitGard Engine Oil No. 5T Sprint Car into battle. With a heat race victory placing him on the sixth row for the feature, Timms gained one spot, crossing the line in 10th.
