MATTOON, Illinois - May 22, 2022) - John Jackson III, Larry Drake, Clayton Apple, John Barnard, Ryan Frantz and Tate Gurney each scored opening night victories with the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Weekly Racing at Coles County Speedway.

In Stock Non-Wing action, John Jackson III from the fifth starting spot picked up the victory. Aarin Squires was second with Jim Baker in third. Tres Mehler was credited with fourth. David Baker and Nathan Rector rounded out the field.

Larry Drake won the Winged A-Class feature event. Brody Strong finished in the runner up spot with Jim Burch crossing in third. Willie Tackitt was fourth and Luke Wright the top five.

Clayton Apple topped the Restricted 'A' Class division. Dawson Wright was second with Memphis Lindeman the top three.

John Barnard scored the Winged Outlaw feature event win. Kylee Griffitts was second at the line. Connor Rhoades was third and Jeremy Warren the field.

Ryan Frantz picked up the win in Non-Wing Outlaw. Kameron Romack was second with John Jackson III crossing in third. Jaylon Mills was fourth and Bobby Bazan the top five.

Tate Gurney claimed the win in Junior Sprints. Cole Jones finished in second with Jaxson Sanders third. Kylee Durbin was fourth and Kaden Wells made up the top five.

Coles County Speedway is back in action on Friday, May 27.
