Gunnar Setser and Setser Racing traveled west to Port City Raceway (Tulsa, Okla.) over the weekend for the Milestone Outlaw Nationals.

The triple header opened on Thursday with 47 Outlaw 600cc Winged Micro Sprints in action. A fifth-place finish in his heat race and a ninth-place finish in his qualifier lined Gunnar up 12th on the B-Main grid. He would only manage a 13th-place finish in the B-Main, which brought his opening round to an early end.

On Friday night action continued with Setser utilizing a third-place finish in his B-Main to earn the 17th-starting spot for the 25-lap preliminary feature. Gunnar was an early retiree on the 11th circuit of the feature to record a 19th-place finish.

Saturday night competition saw Gunnar race his way into the coveted, 50-lap Outlaw finale. On the heels of a seventh-to-third charge in his qualifier he locked into the 13th-starting spot.

Main event action found him clawing his way to a sixth-place finish behind Joe B. Miller, Frank Flud, Jeffrey Newell, T.J. Smith, and Justis Sokol

The team invaded Sweet Springs (Mo.) Motorsports Complex on Sunday night for Outlaw Non-Wing action, where 36 drivers vied for the victory. int he fourth annual Small Town Throwdown. Preliminary action positioned Gunnar 14th on the starting grid for the feature. He passed four competitors to finish 10th in the 40-lap feature.
