Now that the summer has finally arrived Cottage Grove Speedway is in full swing, and the events keep getting bigger and better!! This weekend is going to be HUGE; 3 different events have all merged together and we are so excited to bring you the Ralph Bloom Memorial, Christmas in July, and Kids Night all rolled into one action packed night at the races!
Bloom Family Racing has added $2500.00 to the Royalty Core Sportmods (see full payout below) which is sure to bring lots of talented cars to the best 1/4-mile dirt oval and you know they will all be racing their hearts out to take home the money and the trophy all in honor of the late Ralph Bloom! Modifieds, Todd's Auto Body Sprints, and Street Stocks will all be hitting the track and putting on a show as well!
With the June 11th race being rained out we have moved Kids Night to this weekend too, and all kids 12 and under will get into the grandstands for FREE and get the chance to take home a brand-new bicycle!! This year the bike giveaway has a special twist though, the class that brings in the most bikes will get some extra cash added to their purse!
And if all that wasn't enough to make you get your ticket for Saturday night we have even more!! It's Christmas in July!! We will have some fun goodie bags for the kids and Santa will be here to give them away and do his midyear checkup to see who has been naughty and who has been nice! So be sure to be on your best behavior and ready to have some fun!
