A recent schedule addition finds the USAC Mopar Western Midgets competing at Route 66 Motorplex in Victorville, Calif. on Saturday night, June 30.
Lady driver Shannon McQueen will take a 64-point lead over Scott Pierovich into the Victorville race, next on the 2012 calendar, after finishing fourth in last Saturday night’s “Pombo Classic” feature at the Madera (Calif.) Speedway.
Pierovich, of Alamo, Calif., led all 30 laps at Madera to beat Chad Nichols, Nick Chivello, McQueen and Tony Hunt. Pierovich was also the fastest Madera qualifier.
