Bryce Norris cruises to second win of the season at Bloomington

Friday night found Bryce Norris in action at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.) aboard his Platinum Lawncare No. 37 Sprint Car.

With 15 305 Sprint Cars on hand, Norris clocked in second-fastest overall before placing first in his heat. Winning the battle over fast-qualifier Ethan Barrow in the feature, Bryce kept the polesitter at bay amid lapped-traffic to secure his second win of the season. He took the checkers 3.677 seconds ahead of Barrow with Bradley Sterrett, Jeff Wimmenauer, and John Paynter Jr. rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday afternoon at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio), Bryce’s third-place finish in his heat race placed him on the fifth row for the feature. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Norris gained four spots in the 20-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish. He followed Austin Powell, Alfred Galedrige Jr., Jacob Stickle, and Justin Clark across the line.

Sunday’s contest at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
