Gunnar was back behind the wheel of the CB Industries No. 89 600cc Micro on Wednesday night at North Carolina's Millbridge Speedway.
Thirty-seven drivers registered for competition, and Gunnar battled the handle in qualifying, which left him 19th fastest. After starting fifth in his heat race he advanced to a fourth-place finish to earn the 15th-starting spot in the night's 30-lap feature.
Finale action saw Setser pass seven competitors to finish eighth.
