We worked into the night installing and pointing the lights on the backstretch. While this has been a work in progress all season long we were met with the supplies and equipment needed on backorder delaying the process. Friday September 9th that ends as they will light up the night sky. Some drivers will still see work continuing along the road leading to entrance of track at Turn 2. For those that have asked we are working on adding lights along that road as well to improve visibility at track entrance as well.

While we look back at the improvements of the facility this season. Keith Haney and Todd Martin, Owners of Tulsa Speedway, have continued their promise of providing another venue in the Tulsa area for dirt track racing. Haney stated "As we continue to build our infrastructure of the facility it only helps everyone involved from the racers to the fans. There is still a lot of work to be done going forward. We will keep everyone up to date on those as they happen."
While we take a moment to look back at how much has changed over the course of 1 year since opening of last season.

Tulsa Speedway has grown to having its own large concession stand providing Air-Conditioned restrooms, Souvenir Stand, Concrete walk path to and from bleachers, Snow-Cone Stand, New Scoreboard on back stretch, and smaller items such as more audio speakers in stands, Pit side bleachers, and Air-Conditioned suites available for rent weekly or yearly.

Our next race is slated for September 9th with the Powri West Midgets, USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks, and Mini-Stocks.
