POWRi Lightning Sprint Weekly | September 23-24

Belleville, IL. (9/25/22) Finding a trio of chances of outstanding open-wheel action slated for the weekend, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division continues to highlight the seasonal quest for National Championship infamy. Riding a flurry of late-seasonal points finds the father and son Truscinski duo battling atop the championship picture with Alex leading his father Alan heading into the final few events of the yearly competition as the annual Midwest-hosted Border Battle takes center stage.

Feature winners would include Colorado talent Josiah King earning his second career victory in Night One of the Midwest Border Battle at Electric City Speedway as Stanley Kreisel would grab his twelfth career feature win on Night Two. Rocky Mountain would witness Johnny Boos grab a pair of weekend wins to extend his career win count to thirty-five to wrap up the racing weekend.
