PETERSEN MEDIA: The winning continued in impressive fashion over the last week, as Factory Kahne Shocks scored wins with all three major sanctioning bodies, and at the highly touted PA Speedweek.
Jason Johnson is currently the hottest driver in the country, and he continues to do so with his Factory Kahne Shocks helping him drive by opponents. Over the last week Johnson took two out of three with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour as he grabbed a July 3rd win at US 36 before taking down Rapid City Speedway in Rock Rapid, Iowa on Friday night.
After picking up his first 410 win in nearly three years, Brent Kaeding ditched the wing on Friday night and schooled the USAC Western Classic series, as he grabbed his third win of the season. This one ranks high on BK’s list as it was in honor of his father at the Howard Kaeding Classic.
Like Father, like son(s) all three Kaeding’s found victory lane this past week as Tim and Bud didn’t let their father out shine them.
On the Fourth of July, Bud Kaeding picked up his 10th win of the season with his FK shocks as he dominated the race at Chico. On Friday night, TK picked up his third World of Outlaw win as he stole the show at the Cedar Lake Speedway.
Also on Friday night, Stevie Smith picked up his second win of the season, as he had his FK’s tuned to perfection as he picked up the PA Speedweek win at Williams Grove.
Henry Van Dam continues to be the man in charge at Gray’s Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA as he won again on Saturday night during the track’s mid-season championship night.
