Parking, Bathrooms, and On-Track Conditions Getting Much-Needed Attention Leading Up To The 2023 Season At Creek County Speedway!

SAPULPA, Okla. (January 30, 2023) Looking to the 2023 season, ownership at Creek County Speedway is continuing to look at ways to improve the facility, safety, as well as driver and fan experience.

A long-time issue with the facility is a lack of fan parking that does not involve crossing Route 66. That will change in 2023 as Creek County Speedway, and Webco Industries have agreed on the usage of property that will allow overflow parking on the same side of the road. The new parking area will be just north of the power substation and will keep fans over 50 feet away from the street.

Restrooms in the grandstands will also get some attention, with the biggest addition being air conditioning.

On track, new clay is being brought in, with particular attention being paid to turns one and two. The fencing and gates around the Pits are getting replaced, as well as repairs around the track. New areas for large-scale signage are also in the plans around the track to provide area businesses with fan-driven, direct access marking opportunities.

The 2023 schedule of events was released this week, with 39 nights of racing from March through November. The schedule includes several special events, including the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series, ASCS Sooner Region, OCRS, USL, NOW600 Micros, POWRi, Sooner Late Models, and for the first time Monster Truck Mayhem. There are 21 dates of Fast Five Weekly Racing action.
