The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series started the weekend at Williams Grove Speedway Friday night where Brian Montieth ran his 2012 series total up to 9 wins. Saturday night the series was at Port Royal Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. At Port Royal Speedway Ryan Taylor became the series 27th different feature winner for the year. At Lincoln Speedway Danny Dietrich won his 8th series feature of the year and closed with-in 56 points of the leader Greg Hodnett who was racing in Knoxville Iowa.
The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series continues this week with Williams Grove Speedway Friday August 17th, then Port Royal and Lincoln Speedway's on Saturday August 18th.
Greg Hodnett holds the point lead over Danny Dietrich with Fred Rahmer in 3rd.
