The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series started the weekend at Williams Grove Speedway Friday night with Brian Montieth getting his 11th series win for the year. Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway it was twin 20's night. Brian Montieth ran his 2012 series total up to 12 wins with another victory while Danny Dietrich clinched the track championship with a win in the 2nd feature. Up at Port Royal Speedway Chad Layton took his 4th win for the year.
The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series continues this week with four nights of racing for the Labor Day weekend. Williams Grove Speedway kicks it off Friday, then Port Royal and Lincoln Speedway's on Saturday September 1st. Williams Grove goes back in to action Sunday night September 2nd with the Labor Day Classic at Port Royal Speedway Monday afternoon September 3rd.
Greg Hodnett has a 41 point lead over Danny Dietrich with Brian Montieth moving in to 3rd.
