Drivers to Watch: ‘Dirt-Down in T-Town’ Debut for POWRi 410 BOSS

Belleville, IL. (6/7/23) Headlining an inaugural haul into the Sooner State for the highly anticipated ‘Dirt Down in T-Town’ on June 9-10, the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series will next showcase at speedy Tulsa Speedway with a weekend of adrenaline rushes and point-picture implications.

Entering into the two-day Tulsa showcase with the POWRi 410 BOSS, Millersville Missouri motorist Joe B Miller continues to lead the seasonal standings by notching a pair of wins at Benton and Lake Ozark as well as leading forty-two laps of competition with one heat race win on the year.

Joining the Joe B Miller Motorsports and Driver Development Team on the Tulsa two-step will see fellow POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series competitors Scotty Milan of Fort Collins Colorado making his series debut as well as Bloomfield Missouri rising-star Lane Warner attempt to capitalize off an impressive top-ten series debut performance.

Painting a picture of the championship chase for the POWRi 410 Sprints in 2023, Slater Helt of Cactus Flatts Missouri brings consistent performances into the runner-up placement with two top-ten runs as well as one top-five performance on the season.

Returning to the form of last year's championship run, Roger Crockett of Broken Arrow Oklahoma looks to bring momentum to Tulsa with a solid second place showing most recently at Lake Ozark Speedway with eleven laps lead, a high-point qualifier award and a heat race win this year.

Keeping pace in the yearly points running top-five, Marion Illinois talent Carson Short is routinely found performing inside the front-runners in 2023 with a single heat race victory Short enters Tulsa Speedway within striking distance of the top spot.

Rookie of the year contender Xavier Doney enters the Dirt-Down in T-Town as the passing leader in 2023 for POWRi 410 BOSS gaining thirteen spots on the season as well as rounding out the top-five in the season standings with a yearly best showing coming in a top-ten performance.

Additionally, a trio of top contenders that have also shown continual impressive performances making the trek to Tulsa including runner-up in the 2022 season standings Kyle Bellm of Nixa Missouri with a single top-five run in 2022, Trevin Littleton, of Jacksonville Illinois, and Bee Branch Arkansas wheelman Joey Schmidt with a top-ten placement will all enter the Dirt-Down in T-Town.

Both nights of Tulsa Speedway action with the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series will feature payouts including 1.$5,000, 2. $2,500, 3. $1,250, 4. $1,000, 5. $900, 6. $800, 7. $750, 8. $700, 9. $675, 10. $650, 11. $625, 12. $600, 13. $575, 14. $550, 15. $525, 16-22:$500. All Non-Qualifiers: $100. The American Sprint Car Series has stepped up to additionally offer a $200-Hard Charger Bonus for each night of the ‘Dirt-Down in T-Town’.

Classes scheduled to compete both Friday, June 9th, and Saturday, June 10th include the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series, Factory Stocks, and USRA Tuners with Saturday’s action adding the USRA B-Mod class into the running order as well. A bonus payment of $500 will be awarded to the three highest-finishing ASCS 360 Sprints in the POWRi 410 BOSS feature event.
