Standish, Beattie and Scarborough Among Early Entires

The Whelen Doubleheader weekend is the next race July, 8th and 9th at Mountain Creek Speedway. Saturday racing will feature a 50 lap Predator 375 race for $300 to win with Sunday hosting both, wing and non-wing micro sprint racing. Drivers like Caleb Scarborough, Karter Beattie and Nigel Standish are some of the drivers who have filed early entries for the Whelen Doubleheader Weekend. Karter Beattie filed an entry for the wined 600 division. Beattie is the defending Box Stock Division champion who has been tearing up the ranks in the higher horsepower, Junior Wing and 125cc Intermediate classes. Beattie has also seen laps in a 600 Restricted micro sprint as well.
Caleb Scarborough is the next driver who has filed a wing entry for July 9th. In twelve starts this season across Mountain Creek, Millbridge and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, Scarboro has four top five finishes and seven top tens. Scarboro was also one of the first drivers to take laps at Mountain Creek when the track opened to 600 micro sprint racing.
Nigel Standish is the first driver to file an entry for non-wing. Standish has sixteen starts this year across Mountain Creek and Millbridge Speedway. His highlight of 2023 has been a runner up finish at Mountain Creek on June, 4th. Standish started racing in the flat kart division at Mountain Creek and eventually moving up to the 600 micro sprints.

Gates open at 3pm Saturday with practice beginning at 5pm. Sunday gates will open at 11:30am for the the junior wing kart classes with practice beginning at 2pm. Load in for the 600 Micro’s and senior wing kart classes will be 4pm with practice beginning at 6pm.

The track will also be available for testing and practice days throughout the year.
