Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Aug. 14, 2023) – Jack Dover is tackling a High Limit Sprint Car Series race for the second time this season when he invades Huset’s Speedway on Tuesday.
Dover will drive the No. 81 sprint car for Rick and Chris Bowers during the marquee event at the high-banked oval in Brandon, S.D.
“We haven’t been able to race with each other very often this year, but I feel we’ve improved in our handful of races at Huset’s Speedway,” Dover said. “We got better during the High Bank Nationals in June and then had some decent moments last month before a DNF. Hopefully we can unload a fast race car and have a smooth night.”
Dover has a win at the track in 410ci winged sprint car competition with the Bowers Family in 2021. He also scored a podium performance at Huset’s Speedway this year while driving for Tim Estenson Motorsports.
“I haven’t raced at Huset’s a ton this year, but I’ve made a good amount of laps at the track the last few years,” he said. “It can be tricky and the track can transition a lot so it’s key to lay down a good qualifying lap early in the night and have your car maneuverable late in the night.”
Dover’s lone start with the High Limit Sprint Car Series resulted with an A Main start on June 6 at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb.
