Drivers to Watch: Mega-Missouri Showcase Weekend with POWRi 410 BOSS

Belleville, IL. (8/10/23) Headlining a Show-Me-State two-step at iconic open-wheel entertainment sites, the POWRi 410 Bandit Outlaw Sprint Series will next debut at the Diamond of Dirt Track in Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, August 19th then the series returns to the historic half-mile of Sedalia on Sunday, August 20th to finalize the 2023 Missouri State Fair.

Returning to the form of last year's championship run, Roger Crockett of Broken Arrow Oklahoma looks to bring momentum to Missouri with a run of solid showings in points events with five top-five performances in 2023. Remaining ready for a title-clinching rerun, Roger looks to capitalize on another stellar season while eyeing championship triumphs.

Entering the two-day home-state showcase with the POWRi 410 BOSS, Millersville Missouri motorist Joe B Miller reigns atop the all-time POWRi League feature win leaderboard looking to increase his notable win count to over fifty with POWRi competitions. (45 Micro, 6 WAR, 3 BOSS). With multiple championships in the POWRi Outlaw Micro League, Joe B comes into the weekend running runner-up in the standings while aiming to attain the POWRi BOSS title in 2023.

Super-speedster and 2023 360 Knoxville Nationals Champion, Brian Brown will throw his talents into the checkered-flag chasers over the weekend; having also joined the feature victory column during the series' inaugural campaign of 2022 as the defending Missouri State Fair Champion.

Heating up in intrigue, the Rookie-of-the-Year points battle remains tight with Xavier Doney entering the weekend holding a slight advantage over Jack Potter as both entrants lead the league in positions gained in 2023; both advancing fourteen spots throughout the year as well as each running inside the top-ten in the season standings. Gaining traction as a threat-to-win weekly, Joey Schmidt of Bee Branch Arkansas also aims to solidify his name amongst the series' top-rising rookies.

In addition, an excess of upper-echelon Missouri talents will also make their presence felt in the weekend of speed including Lake Ozark Speedway winner and third in points Ayrton Gennetten, the dueling-family speedsters of Tony and Faron Crank, sixth in points Columbia-wheelman Garet Williamson, as well as 2022 Points Runner-Up Kyle Bellm, plus many more.

The payout for the POWRi 410 BOSS for both Friday, August 19th, and Saturday, August 20th will be 1.$5,000, 2. $2,500, 3. $1,250, 4. $1,000, 5. $900, 6. $800, 7. $750, 8. $700, 9. $675, 10. $650, 11. $625, 12. $600, 13. $575, 14. $550, 15. $525, 16-20:$500.
All Non-Qualifiers: $100.
