Championships At Bloomington Speedway Will Come Down To The Final Laps

This Friday at Bloomington Speedway is the final race with many close points battles to put an end to the historic 100th season!! The sprint car title comes down to 3 great drivers and it may come down to the final 25th lap as close as it is. Brady Short leads the way and looks to add to his multiple championships at the red clay. He has 488 points with 2 wins and 5 top 5's for the season and has been very consistent throughout the 2023 season. Jordan Kinser has 484 points just 4 behind his friend Brady and he also has 2 wins and 6 top 5's at the red clay. Harley Burns sits 3rd with 476 points and he has 1 win with 4 top 5's during the 2023 season. This is 3 very strong teams with 3 very talented drivers and each position being 2 points is going to make this one a wild one for sure. All 3 teams have great crews and it shows how strong each team performs every week being at the top of the field. We wish the #36, #04 and #16 the best of luck going for the championship trophy at the end of the night this Friday.
Congrats also goes to Jacoby Hines for holding on to the 2023 UMP Mod Championship at Bloomington Speedway and it also came down to the final laps. Logan Mounce ran a very strong race picking up the big win Friday. Jacoby was able to hold on to 5th place and this would give him 327 points for the season. He held off Logan Mounce with 321 points just 6 behind and John Demoss who ended up with 315 points just 6 behind Logan. Thanks to all the UMP Mods who put on some great shows this year at Bloomington Speedway.
The UMP Super Stocks are coming down for their final points race also and 2 great drivers are really close for the title. Josh Litton who leads the UMP national title has 440 points at Bloomington going into the final 20 lap A main. He has had 7 top 5's which have kept him at the top. Isaiah Sasser is right there also in 2nd with 436 points. Isaiah has 5 top 5's for the season which has also kept him close to the top. Both of the #89 and #11 have very strong racing families and crews and we appreciate each of them battling it out for the title and we wish them the best on the final night.
The UMP Hornets also will be on the card the final night and Alex Wilson leads the way with 325 points with 2 wins and 6 top 5's. Jeremy Shemwell is in 2nd with 310 points with 5 top 5's coming down to the final night. Good Luck to both the #44 and the #27 in their battle for the final night. Thanks to all the teams that have put on some great shows at the red clay and we look forward to the championship night this Friday night. See you at the red clay!!!
