For a Labor Day special with the USAC Silver Crown National Championship, Kyle Steffens ventured to DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (DuQuoin, Ill.) on Saturday afternoon for the 69th annual Ted Horn 100 presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza.
With 35 entries recording a time in Honest Abe Roofing Qualifying, Steffens locked into the 100-lap main event with a blistering 32.950-lap aboard his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 entry. Chasing a $10,000 top prize, Kyle rolled to a 10th-place finish.
