Jack Wagner Joins POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League Championship Lineage

Belleville, IL. (10/8/23) Escalating the competitional advantage in eleven events throughout the 2023 racing season, the POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League would find the gentlemanly drives of Jack Wagner capture the yearly points championship by boasting a season highlighted in on-track successes.

Attaining his first career POWRi WAR Sprint League championship, Jack Wagner, of Lone Jack Missouri, would earn the undeniable title-clinching season with a podium performance in every single points event on the yearly quest for a championship with eight straight front-stretch visits. Boasting a seasonal best showing at Valley Speedway in July, Wagner would capture his second career feature win within POWRi WAR as well as a trio of heat racing victories and hot-lap quick time awards each.

“Clinching this championship shows the versatility of this team. The determination to be factored in both POWRi WAR and Double X Speedways 360-wing sprint cars that we run all season long at a high level is what we strived for,” said the 2023 POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League Champion Jack Wagner. Adding, “To me personally, it is the beginning of a childhood dream, showing what I can do no matter what style of car we decide to run on any given weekend”.

Wheeling the iconic Jesse Hockett Racing, Wagner Boys Racing, KC Platinum Contractors, Akers Tire Service, Fry Auto Craft, Gentleman Jack Designs, S&S Electrical, Maxim Chassis, Don Ott Racing Engines, #77 to twenty-six laps lead in the year, “The Gentleman” Jack Wagner would additionally gain twenty-five positions throughout 2023 green flag competition to capture the seasonal championship by seventy points as the final checkers of 2023 waved.

Humble as always, Jack would go on to thank several people “The driving forces behind this team make us what we are, on the backbone of Samuel Wagner, Mom and Dad, Jack and Conny Hockett as well as Ace Bodenhamer and Brett Bybee, Joe Worrell, and Blake Bowers plus so many others. They all work their tails off and deserve every bit of the credit for this season's accolades. With this season coming to a close it’s now time to prepare to build on this and come back stronger next season on all fronts”.
