With Saturday’s program falling to inclement weather, Sunday saw Kyle Steffens return to the driver’s seat of the Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 Silver Crown entry at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (Brownsburg, Ind.) for the USAC Silver Crown National Championship finale.
Starting the A-Main presented by Howard Companies in 16th via his qualifying effort, Steffens moved forward three spots despite an overheating engine to bring home a 13th-place finish.
