Belleville, IL. (1/16/2024) Intensifying operations for cost-effective and competitive regional racing, the POWRi Hermitage Lumber Late Model Division will expand for the second season campaign with thirty-nine sanctioned events slated for a four-track Show-Me-State competitional swing throughout a five-month 2024 season.
Uniting forces under one sanctioning umbrella, POWRi, and Lucas Oil Speedway have joined together for the 2024 season with a full fifteen-event season to be contended near-weekly at the diamond of dirt tracks from debuting in the Easter Bowl Enduro 150 on Saturday, April 6th until the Rempfer Memorial on Saturday, August, 24th.
“We’re looking forward to working with POWRi on the Late Model sanctioning as we continue to grow the class, said Danny Lorton of Lucas Oil Speedway. Adding “Our ultimate goal is to ensure sanctioned tracks have the tools and assistance needed to enforce the rules as written.”
Highlighting the year with a rotation of several traveling trips, the POWRi Hermitage Late Model Series will witness five visits to the quick lap times of Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg Missouri as well as fourteen premier weekly events at Callaway Raceway in Fulton Missouri.
The Triple Crown returns to celebrate Independence Weekend with a Missouri racing road trip as the POWRi Hermitage Late Model Division will see an action-packed trilogy of speed with visits to Lucas Oil Speedway on Thursday, July 4th, a quick trip to Callaway Raceway on Friday, July 5th, ultimately concluding at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, July 6th.
Finalizing the year, the POWRi Hermitage Late Model Series will conclude with a three-day stay at Lake Ozark Speedway for the Second Annual Andy Zeller Memorial POWRi StockMod Nationals on September 26-28.
Presently, venues planning on participating in the second season of the POWRi Hermitage Lumber Late Models include Callaway Raceway, Central Missouri Speedway, Lake Ozark Speedway, and Lucas Oil Speedway with other facilities in negotiations for events as tracks form their yearly schedules.
