The 2013 season got under way in early March for Jody Rosenboom and Jimco Motorsports by traveling to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to run with the World of Outlaws. With two nights of racing action Jody found himself in the same position as many people who visit sin city, on the wrong side of luck. "We were battling to find the set up with a new car and a new tire this year. The World of Outlaws have been racing for a month in Florida befor coming here and it showed as they were ahead of us on figuring out this new tire and that set us a little behind, and then some bad luck on top of that didn't help our cause." Jody had DNF's in both nights of action with a nozzle line breaking night #1 and a broken driveshaft on night #2. "We learned a ton out here running with the World of Outlaws. Granted our results didn't show it, but we felt it was a successful week by what we all learned and we look forward to getting back to the Midwest and get back to running upfront." Jody's next stop will be April 5th and 6th at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE.
