Gunnar Setser returned to the driver's seat of the Kevin Arnold-backed No. 43 Midget on Saturday night to make his final start of the season at the Southern Illinois Center (Du Quoin, Ill.) for the annual Junior Knepper 55.
Competing in a stacked field of 52 POWRi Midget entries, Gunnar's fourth-to-second showing in his heat race locked him into the $10,000-to-win main event. Taking the green in 13th, Setser was an early retiree from the 55-lapper on the third circuit.
