OSWEGO, NY (February 22, 2024) - Fourth-year Pathfinder Bank SBS competitor AJ Larkin of Oswego, NY is the latest driver to spend time with Doug Elkins in his race shop as the team readies the Larkin Racing No. 35 machine for 2024.
Larkin, who in 2023 at Oswego Speedway landed 1 top five, four top 10’s, ninth in points, and improved his best lap to 19.0 by season's end, also collected the Underdog Award and a solid 12th place finish in the Bud Light SBS Classic 60.
Plans again call for Larkin to run the entirety of the Oswego schedule plus the Small Block Super Championship Series, and he took the time to explain his expectations for the coming season, how the opportunity presented itself to finally go racing at the age of 29, knowledge needed for working on a Small Block Super, his first weekend in the car, what he has learned and how his confidence has grown over the course of three full-time seasons.
