Jace Sparks just missed the top ten in AFS Badger Midget Auto Racing Association points in 2023 on the strength of a coveted feature win in his colorful #40. Here's some insight on Jace:

BMARA: Were you a fan of racing before you got behind the wheel and if so, who were your heroes and what tracks did you attend?

SPARKS: My race heroes were My Dad (Wes Sparks), Jeff Leka, Jeremy Nichols.
I grew up going to Lincoln Speedway, Macon Speedway, Jacksonville Speedway, Spoon River Speedway.

BMARA: How much time do you spend on the car each week during the season?

SPARKS: During the season I spend roughly 8-10 hrs a week.

BMARA: What is your day job and how does racing fit in?

SPRAKS: My current job is working for my father's vinyl company.

BMARA: What's something interesting the fans might not know about you?

SARKS: I grew up wrestling all my life before getting in a race car. I only started driving a car full time when I was 21.

I skipped my college graduation from the University of Tennessee for a badger race last season (2023) and was the day I won my first ever race.
